Each month we partner with a different local charity to raise money and awareness through our 鈥淭ip for a Cause鈥� program. In lieu of a tip, 蘑菇传媒 Institute guests have the opportunity to donate to our cause for that month.
Each October we raise money for awareness and research charities like Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Cornucopia Cancer Support Center, the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer center, and more.
Due to delays from COVID-19, the 蘑菇传媒 Institutes decided to extend the 鈥淭ip for a Cause鈥� program from October into the month of November! Our in-person event held on Wednesday, November 4th, called for 100% of service sales to benefit Breast Cancer Research Foundation. We had lots of fun things happening such as raffles as well as additional ways to donate. We had a spend & match event happening as well. Spend $25+ in retail products and receive 100% value back in a service voucher! All of this money raised will be donated to BCRF.
The mission of Breast Cancer Research Foundation is to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world鈥檚 most promising research. Breast cancer knows no age, gender or race. As the most common cancer in women worldwide and the second most common cancer overall, it remains a fact of life. That鈥檚 because breast cancer has no boundaries. It is the leading cause of cancer death in the world鈥檚 poorest countries and the second leading cause of cancer death in American women.
BCRF wants to put an end to breast cancer. Their goal: No more fear. No more hospital visits. No more side effects or needless suffering. No more loved ones lost to breast cancer.
The only way to achieve this goal is through research. Research is revolutionizing our understanding of cancer. Research is leading us to the core of this insidious disease. Research is transforming lives every day as women and men get the help they need. Until the number of deaths from breast cancer is zero, we will not stop.
